Amalfi Cucina & Mercato Offers Pay What You Can to Hurricane Evacuees

ATLANTA, GA – October 9, 2024 – Amalfi Cucina & Mercato, a traditional Italian restaurant, welcomes hurricane evacuees traveling into the area to visit their establishments to enjoy a hot meal and simply Pay What You Can on the food portion of their bill (excluding alcoholic beverages). This offer is valid at both restaurant locations (downtown Atlanta and Buckhead) to anyone in the area that has been displaced by mandatory evacuations. Guests only need to ask for a manager when the bill arrives and show a valid ID from one of the hurricane areas affected.  

"Our family here at Amalfi Pizza understands the struggles that evacuees face as we have establishments and team members that are affected in those areas," said founding partner Greg Grant. "It's our way of welcoming displaced travelers to Atlanta and the Amalfi family with a warm meal to make them feel at home during a stressful time."  

Amalfi Cucina & Mercato has recently revitalized their outdoor dining space in Buckhead to now accommodate an additional 60 seats. Diners have come to expect a unique Italian experience as the charming restaurants boast large semi-circular booths, custom wrought iron chandeliers, Juliet balconies overlooking an Italian-inspired entryway and authentic Italian cuisine transports diners to the warm and serene Italian coast.

Patrons are enjoying the new Saturday Brunch menu among other favorites like the Chicken Parmigiano, Chicken or Veal Marsala as well as their award-winning Neapolitan-style pizzas like the Margherita Carnival, Tartufo e Funghi and their signature, Pizza Amalfi, made with San Marzano sauce, spicy sausage, peppadew peppers, caramelized onion, house made bacon jam and topped with fresh mozzarella.  Additionally, diners can enjoy shareable appetizers, delicious salads, traditional pastas and original desserts made from fresh quality ingredients from Italy.
